Welcome to my photography gallery. I have been taking photographs since the late 1970s when I bought my first camera - a Minolta Hi-Matic rangefinder. However, it is only since 2014, when I joined Seaford Photographic Society, that I have started to take it more seriously. I particularly enjoy taking wildlife images but I don't have the patience to sit in a hide for days on end to capture that perfect shot. It is very much an ongoing journey and I am still experimenting with different subjects and techniques. More recently I have been experimenting with minimalist monochrome images.

Here is some info about UK photographic clubs, as the acronyms can be a bit confusing. The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) is the national organisation that co-ordinates activities for around 1000 photographic clubs in the UK (including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man). It does this through 15 geographical Federations, of which The Kent County Photographic Association (KCPA) is one. This covers Kent and parts of East Sussex and Southeast London and it has about 50 affiliated member clubs including Seaford Photographic Society (SPS).
